Γεσυ registered General Surgeon, Dr Nikos Vlachos was born in Athens in 1964, studied at the Medical School of the University of Timisoara in Romania. Here, he received his degree in Medicine in 1990 and specialized in General Surgery at the Regional General Hospital of Nikaia “Αgios Panteleimon” and General Hospital of Athens “Polyclinic” from where he obtained the title of General Surgeon. He has acquired specialization in the fields of Laparoscopic Surgery and Obesity Surgery.

In June 2022 he joined us at AIMIS Clinics and is seeing patients in Limassol at AIMIS Clinics Athonitissa and in Larnaca at AIMIS Clinics S. Sergiou.

06/2022 – Present: Γεσυ registered General Surgeon at AIMIS Clinics

06/2022: Operator at ¨Evangelismos Clinic¨ in Paphos and ¨Limassol Medical Center¨

09/2019: Collaborator of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic ¨REA¨, where he has developed, with his team, a department of Advances Laparoscopic Surgery and Obesity Surgery

2013: Scientific collaborator of the Athens Medica Center Group (Peristeri Clinic), where he operated with his team

2008: He specialized in Robotic Surgery through the Da Vinci Robotic System in Strasbourg (IRCAD / EITS) – France

2007: He attended an Obesity Surgery training program on Sleeve Gastrectomy in New York-U.S.A., and he has been the Director of the Obesity Surgery Clinic at Doctor’s Hospital.

2004-2007: He was a research associate at the Athens Medical Center as well as the White Cross Clinic in Piraeus as the head of the Obesity Department

2003: He attended a training program in specialized techniques of Surgical Obesity (Gastric Ring-Gastric Balloon) in Lyon - France.

1999-2004: Research associate at the Euroclinic of Athens
