Dr. Dan Plev

M.D. Neurosurgeon

Dr. Plev is a neurosurgeon with significant experience in spinal assessment, treatment and surgery. He is a graduate of Mainz University, trained in Phoenix, Arizona USA and Munich, Germany where he completed his German neurosurgical training. He was awarded an MD for his experimental immunohistological work on proliferation markers in gliomas and meningiomas. During his training he gained considerable experience in treating spinal disorders, ranging from degenerative conditions through to tumor work.

After moving to London he worked as the spinal fellow at the London Spine Clinic for eighteen months, greatly increasing his exposure and experience of treating spinal conditions. Dr. Plev has adopted the philosophy of managing patients in a holistic manner, utilizing the least invasive therapeutic measures when possible, to improve the patients’ symptoms.

Dr. Plev is a member of the North American Spine Society and is involved in several research projects. He specializes in spinal assessment, treatment and surgery; including surgical and non-surgical treatment of degenerative spinal conditions, and surgical and non-surgical treatment of osteoporotic conditions.
